About the role

As a Mobile Crushing Shift Supervisor, you will report to the Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in leading and managing our Production Crew. Your main goal will be to achieve budgeted production targets while ensuring adherence to all quality, cost, safety, and environmental standards and assisting in the reporting of all equipment for maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective Leadership: Provide strong and effective leadership to develop and motivate the crew.
  • Task Monitoring: Oversee the progress of assigned tasks and promptly address any issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and develop alternative methods and systems.
  • Change Management: Assist coordinators with implementing change management initiatives and other projects.
  • Daily Supervision: Manage the daily maintenance workflow of the crew.
  • Technical Liaison: Collaborate with process engineers regarding operating parameters and technical issues, and communicate these to relevant operators.
  • Clear Accountability: Ensure crew members have clearly defined accountabilities, roles, and development plans.
  • Planning and Budgeting: Assist with the planning of maintenance activities, budget preparation, and project management.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in a supervisory role within a mobile crushing or fixed plant crushing indusrty.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

  • Experience and the desire to assist in developing and training the people under you.
